1st Sunday – Ilkely Real Food

Real Food Ilkley CIC was registered with Companies House on 10 December 2015 following twelve months of hard work by a small group of volunteers led by Paula Connor.

The team, with the support of Ilkley Parish Council, conducted a feasibility study and liaised closely with local retailers and residents. Results showed that there was overwhelming support from the Ilkley community for a regular Fine Food & Local Produce Market in central Ilkley.

Real Food Ilkley CIC has engaged the support of local businesses and obtained funding from Ilkley Parish Council and Ilkley Round Table to facilitate attendance of two community groups at each market and for the team to support local “start up” food producers and sellers who support the ethos of the company.
